This is me pushing Ezekiel out. Yes, I am flat on my back. I chose that position and with this birth it worked wonderful. My water was broken at 6:00 AM and Ezekiel was born at 6:10 AM. Also, once the urge to push came, I was allowed to push for as long or short of a time as I wanted whenever I felt the need to. It was much better that way than having some one count to ten and try to force you to push with them.
These next few pics are of Zebedia watching the birth. He was very fascinated and excited by the whole thing. He loved watching Ezekiel being born. After Zeke came out, Zebbie kept asking if he could watch the baby come out again LOL
And here is Ezekiel after just being born. He was placed on my stomache and immediately had a bowel movement right on mommy! HAHA! It was wonderful actually feeling him drop down into me and come out. I did not feel that with Zebedia. With Zeb I only felt intense burning and stinging and didn't even realize he had been born...I was still pushing. I also did not have to get an episiotomy with Ezekiel as I did with Zebbie.
